The Danger of “WANTING”
If determining what we want is so important then what is the danger of wanting?
When we use the Law of Attraction to bring the people, things and situations into our life experience that we want, experiences like better finances, relationships, health and even those things from a business or career perspective, it is important to clearly identify what we want. Identifying what we want is the first step in making the Law of Attraction work for us. When we are not clear or do not have clarity about our wants or desires we will attract a mishmash of situations and experiences that will not completely fulfill our desires and often times be what we don’t want. So, how could there be a danger in “wanting”?
The danger in wanting comes when we move to the next step, giving attention, energy and focus to our desires. This is the step where we add the supernatural emotional attracting power to the desires or wants we identified in step 1. As we build our desire statements it is important to never use the word want or any phrase that implies the idea of wanting.
When we use “wanting” or “want” in our desire statements it leaves us in a continual state of wanting or lacking the very thing we desire. We are, in effect, giving attention, energy and focus to a state of lack. As I stated before, it is important to identify what we want but critically important not to want or stay in a state of wanting as we project our desires and apply the Law of Attraction.
The key here is to project your desires in a state of completion. To project them as if you already have them. This is not only different in how we conceptualize our desire statements but radically different in how they feel as we project them. The Law of Attraction only knows to check what you are projecting and to bring you more of it. If we project a state of lack, like wanting, it will only bring more lack or wanting.
In the Bible it states” to see the end from the beginning” and “to call those things that be not as though they were.” In that last statement the verb “were” is past tense, as though it had already happened or appeared. When you express or visualize your desires, dreams, or goals it must be done as though you already have them to create the attracting force to bring them into your reality and life experience. If you will remember from the Attitude Is Everything Introduction to the Law of Attraction Workshop, all of the suggestions for building desire statements did not contain the word or idea of wanting or lacking. They are all in the form or state of completion or of already having. Even the visualizing or imagining process must be done in the state of completion.
We spend a great deal more time on this concept in the Advanced Law of Attraction Workshops. If you desire to go to the next level, add more attracting power and clear road blocks to attraction then you may want to consider an advanced workshop.
